The Winter ‘25 Release gives us a glimpse into the exciting future of Marketing Cloud on Core, and further highlights the investment Salesforce is making to grow its newest marketing technology.
Not only was this release packed with new product features and UX enhancements, but the biggest announcement was a new product edition: Marketing Cloud Advanced.
Customers were first introduced to Marketing Cloud Growth Edition in Spring 2024 as the first Salesforce marketing tool built on Data Cloud in the core CRM environment. Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition extends the capabilities of Growth, and includes new features exclusive to the Advanced Edition, like conversational two-way SMS messaging, A/B testing, and enhanced Einstein and AI functionality.
Whether you are a Growth or Advanced user, this release also introduced exciting new functionality to help Marketers solve daily challenges.
Dynamic Content is now available to help Marketers curate the perfect message, swapping content and images based on audience attributes.
Opportunity Influence helps capture marketing attribution by automatically connecting email click engagement data to closed/won opportunities, evolving the historical Campaign Influence capabilities to better serve Marketers.
Marketing Performance reporting gives robust performance insights with dashboards embedded directly into the Campaign record.
Other updates included enhancements to the set-up experience, new required Marketing Data kits, and improvements to the set-up experience to make it even easier for Administrators to set-up and manage Marketing Cloud.
